Freedom Honor Flight Presents La Crosse’s Vendi Advertising With Special Award

Veteran’s organization Freedom Honor Flight presents Vendi Advertising with a special award to express their gratitude for Vendi’s commitment as a vital sponsor since 2008.

La Crosse, Wis., November 11, 2010—Freedom Honor Flight, a La Crosse-based affiliate of the national Honor Flight Network, presented Vendi Advertising with an award on October 21 to thank them for their outstanding commitment and support as a sponsor and marketing partner.

Since the formation of Freedom Honor Flight in 2008, Vendi has helped create their logo, media communications, brochures, posters, advertisements, website, social media and newsletter. Vendi associates also volunteer for flights and events.

Vendi recently moved to a new location in downtown La Crosse and held an open house for area businesses and partners to see their new office space. Freedom Honor Flight board members Chuck Hanson and Bill Hoel arrived early to surprise Vendi staff with the award.

The goal of Freedom Honor Flight is to fly veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the memorials that stand in their honor. The organization is based in La Crosse and serves 22 counties in northeast Iowa, southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Freedom Honor Flight receives no government assistance and relies entirely on donations by private individuals and businesses.
