New Business Development Intern

The new business development (NBD) intern may assist with prospecting research, competitive and market research, sales strategy, sales operations, customer relationship management and project management.

The best fit for this position would 

  • Be a college student (sophomore or junior) studying marketing, communications, digital media or related field
  • Be able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
  • Have a basic understanding of marketing and communication strategies

Job duties for this position may include

  • Assist in the development and presentation of agency proposals
  • Update the agency directory and assets as needed 
  • Organize and set up new prospects in the project management system and on the agency server
  • Conduct prospecting research and present insights to team
  • Assist in prospecting campaign coordination
  • Assist with agency and new business meeting coordination and preparation as needed
  • Participate in agency and new business meetings as needed
  • Assist in entering and managing to-dos in the project management system
  • Track all hours in the agency time management system
  • Store all working and complete project files on the agency server
  • Assist agency team with events, projects and workload via various tasks
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct
